Jacob Scilley was born 6/28/1894, and passed away 8/06/1961. According to the Minnesota Death Certificate archive[1], his mother's maiden name was 'Ross'.
According to The 88th Division in the World War of 1914-1918[2], Jacob served as a private in Company D, 339th Machine Gun Battalion during WWI. Records indicate that he is buried at Fort Snelling, MN[3] in 1961.
