As art, the composition in this photo is chaotic, but very focused -- the dog, it seems, has done something at that spot, is being scolded by Mom while Dad goes in for a closer investigation. No table scraps tonight.
If you look at the detail in this photo, the small plate above the actual license plate reads, "Elect Benson Governor." Elmer Benson was elected the 26th governor of Minnesota in 1936.
