- In 1961, rural children from Western Minnesota converged on Moorhead, MN, to parade through town, proclaiming their participation in 4H. One proud adult took the opportunity -- and a camera loaded with slide film -- to document the fun.
- Ever want to live on the moon, but unable to scrap together enough liquid oxygen or moon-monster repellant? Moon-style living, right here in Fargo: a house made of domes, on 2nd Ave S.
- Helene and her lady-friends spent 1916 photographing each other, surprisingly candid photos for the late Victorian period. They appear in my alluringly titled article Victorian Ladies Gone Wild!
- One day, on a walkabout, we ran across a classy steel shed that looked like it was built out of recycled tin ceiling tiles. The construction was so fine, including neat finials, that we figured it must've been a kit garage. A little research, and we discover we met a Rusk Auto-House, manufactured right here in Fargo.
