Roy A Gallant is a well-known author of books on science. Among his published titles are Exploring Mars, Exploring the Moon, and Exploring Chemistry.[1]

Roy Gallant is Director Emeritus of the Southworth Planetarium at University of Southern Maine. In 1992 he was the first American to visit the Tunguska crater site.[2]
