The view is looking east-southeast; most prominently visible is the steeple of Pontoppidan Lutheran Church, at the corner of 4th street and 3rd Avenue North. To the left of it is the Civic Center; the two tall buildings in the distance are Moorhead City Hall on the left, and the F-M Hotel, now the US Bank building, to the right.
